Camera origin: The Green Feathers camera in this kit is designed in Britain and manufactured overseas.

Watch nest building, feeding and fledging with this Green Feathers side view bird box camera Complete Pack. The angled larch bird box gives the camera a view of the nesting area and entrance, while 1080p HD video and a built-in microphone bring the sights and sounds of the nest to your phone or tablet.

This Complete Pack includes a 64GB microSD card for recording, alongside the camera, bird box, daylight LED lamp, mains power supply and 10-metre power extension cable.

The camera needs mains power and a suitable WiFi signal at the bird box. WiFi means no network cable back to your router, not wire-free power. Choose the UK or EU power-supply option to suit your socket.

A side view of life in the nest

The bird box is designed for camera installation, with an angled layout that helps bring both the nest and entrance into view. Its 32mm entrance and larch construction provide a purpose-built setting for observing nesting birds.

Watch live, listen and record

Use the official Green Feathers app on iOS or Android to watch live footage and play back recordings. The included 64GB microSD card supports continuous or motion-triggered recording, and the camera accepts cards up to 128GB.

The microphone captures nest calls and rustles. Voice prompts help with setup; the speaker is used for setup only. The camera supports live viewing on an Alexa Echo Show, and streaming to services such as YouTube is possible with additional setup.

Daytime colour and invisible night vision

The daylight LED lamp supports clear colour footage during the day. Four invisible infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 1 metre without a visible glow, letting you observe after dark without shining visible light into the nest.

Installation and related products

Mount the camera inside the bird box, connect the power supply using the extension cable and follow the app instructions to connect to WiFi. Keep the camera protected inside the habitat: it is not waterproof.
