WiFi Bird Box Camera – 1080p HD, 3rd Gen

Camera origin: Designed in Britain and manufactured overseas.

Watch nesting birds up close with this Green Feathers 3rd Generation WiFi bird box camera. Enjoy live or recorded 1080p HD footage on your smartphone or tablet using the Green Feathers app, with a built-in microphone bringing the calls and rustles of the nest to life.

This camera needs a mains power connection and a WiFi signal at its installation point. No network cable back to your router is needed. A bird box and memory card are not included.

A closer view, day and night

The compact camera fits inside a bird box, with a wide-angle 2.8mm lens designed to capture more of the enclosed space. Daylight footage is recorded in colour. Four invisible infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 1 metre without a visible glow, letting you watch after dark without disturbing nesting birds.

App viewing and recording

Use the Green Feathers app on iOS or Android to watch live footage, view recordings and share favourite moments. The camera supports continuous and motion-detection recording to a microSD card up to 128GB, sold separately.

Additional compatible 3rd Generation cameras can be added to the app, with capacity dependent on your network speed. This model supports viewing on an Alexa Echo Show. Online streaming to services such as YouTube is also possible with additional setup.

Installation

Mount the camera in a sheltered bird box or suitable wildlife habitat, connect the mains power supply and follow the setup prompts to connect it to WiFi using your phone or tablet. Voice prompts help guide you through connection; the camera's speaker is used for setup only.

The camera is not waterproof. Although rated IP54, it must be protected from direct exposure to rain and water.

Watch the Green Feathers camera mounting guide (opens in a new tab).
