Camera origin: The Green Feathers camera in this kit is designed in Britain and manufactured overseas.

Follow the story of a nest, from the first building materials to fledging, with this Green Feathers side view bird box and 1080p WiFi camera starter pack. The angled larch bird box is designed to give the camera a view of both the nesting area and entrance, while the built-in microphone lets you hear the calls and rustles inside.

The pack includes a 3rd Generation WiFi camera, side view bird box, mains power supply, 10-metre power extension cable and daylight LED lamp. The camera requires mains power and a suitable WiFi signal at the bird box; WiFi connectivity does not mean wire-free power.

A different view of the nest

The side view design positions the camera to capture the nest and entrance together. The larch box has a 32mm entrance hole, with a compact camera and wide-angle 2.8mm lens to make the most of the space inside.

Watch and listen on your phone or tablet

Use the official Green Feathers app on iOS or Android to watch live footage and play back recordings. The camera connects to dual-band 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi, with voice prompts to help during setup. Its speaker is used for setup only.

Record continuous footage or motion-triggered clips to a microSD card up to 128GB. A microSD card is not included in this starter pack. The camera also supports live viewing on an Alexa Echo Show. Streaming to services such as YouTube is possible with additional setup.

Daytime colour and discreet night vision

The included daylight LED lamp supports clear daytime colour images. After dark, four invisible infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 1 metre without a visible glow, helping you observe without disturbing nesting birds.

Installation and compatible accessories

Mount the camera inside the side view bird box, connect the mains power supply using the included extension cable, and follow the app setup to connect to WiFi. Keep the camera protected inside the habitat: it is not waterproof.
