Strawflower Helipterum Roseum Mixed

Sale price£2.30

The refined, Victorian strawflower — and the darling of the dried flower world. Helipterum Roseum Mixed produces dainty, daisy-like blooms with tissue-thin, papery petals in shades of soft blush-pink, rose-pink, and pure white, often with golden or dark centres — delicate in appearance but extraordinarily long-lasting, retaining their shape and vibrant colour for years after harvesting.

Approximately 250 seeds per packet. Harvest when half-open and hang to dry for the softest, most lasting colour.

  • Helipterum roseum — Half-Hardy Annual (H2)
  • Height: 40–50cm | Flowers: July–September
  • Sow indoors February–April; surface sow lightly — needs light; plant out May–June
  • Full sun; light, well-drained soil — sheltered from heavy wind
  • Outstanding for cutting fresh and drying
  • Outstanding pollinator plant — bees and hoverflies

Grow it with Nigella Miss Jekyll for a dreamy Victorian combination of pink paper daisies and blue mist that dries into one of the most beautiful winter arrangements you can make.
