Scabious Black Knight
Drama, mystery, and deep velvet. Black Knight produces honey-scented pincushion flowers in a shade of maroon-purple so deep they are often mistaken for black — swaying on long, wiry stems with a grace that makes them as beautiful in a vase as they are in the border.
Flowering from July through to November — one of the longest seasons of any annual — and an outstanding pollinator plant throughout. The dark, jewel-like blooms provide a sophisticated focal point that lifts any planting scheme into something more considered.
