Nigella Mulberry Rose (Love-in-a-mist)
A masterpiece of colour evolution. Nigella Mulberry Rose opens as a delicate pale blush and deepens in the sun into a rich, vintage rose-berry tone — antique porcelain blooms nestled in a ruff of fine, ferny foliage that look as though they have been painted rather than grown.
When the petals fall, the centre swells into a magnificent balloon-like seed pod striped in burgundy and green that dries perfectly for winter vases and wreaths. Listed on the RHS Plants for Pollinators. Self-seeds reliably. Approximately 400 seeds per packet.
- Nigella damascena 'Mulberry Rose' — Hardy Annual (H3/H4)
