Mint Peppermint

The most cooling, most versatile mint in the range. Peppermint produces vigorous, aromatic stems with a powerful menthol flavour that is outstanding in teas, desserts, cocktails, and lamb dishes. Grow in a container to contain its vigorous spreading habit — in open ground it will colonise everything around it.

• Sow indoors March–April; surface sow, needs light; full sun to partial shade
• Moist, well-drained soil — grow in containers to control spread
