Clary Sage Crown Bouquet Mixed
The plant that provides colour from June to October without fading, flopping, or needing fuss. Crown Bouquet Mixed produces upright spikes decorated with oversized bracts in a beautiful pastel blend of candy pink, crisp white, and deep indigo-blue — tough, weather-resistant, and lasting up to two weeks in a fresh vase because the colourful parts are leaves rather than delicate petals.
Dries perfectly for winter arrangements, retaining its pastel tones for months. Listed on the RHS Plants for Pollinators. Approximately 300 seeds per packet.
- Salvia viridis — Hardy Annual (H3/H4)
- Height: 50–60cm | Flowers: June–October
- Direct sow March–May or September; cover lightly 3mm
- Full sun; well-drained soil — drought-tolerant once established
- Pinch at 10–15cm for bushier, multi-stemmed plants
- RHS Plants for Pollinators listed — outstanding for drying
Grow it with Ammi majus for a romantic meadow combination of white lace and pastel spikes that is as beautiful in the vase as it is in the border.
