Chervil Plain
The most sophisticated of the French fines herbes — and the most underused in British kitchens. Chervil produces delicate, ferny foliage with a subtle aniseed flavour that is outstanding in omelettes, salads, and cream sauces, and must always be added at the very last second as heat destroys its delicate character entirely. Thrives in cool, shady spots where most herbs struggle. Approximately 500 seeds per packet.
