Calendula Oopsy Daisy
The cheerful one. Oopsy Daisy is a compact dwarf calendula with tangerine-and-cream petals that look as though they have been dipped in paint — neat, mounded, and irrepressibly cheerful from June through to October.
At just 25–30cm, it is perfectly suited to pots, containers, and the front of a sunny border, where it provides a continuous low ribbon of warm colour without ever getting in the way of what is behind it.
- Calendula officinalis — Hardy Annual (H3)
- Height: 25–30cm | Flowers: June–October
- Direct sow March–May or September for early blooms
- Full sun; well-drained soil — excellent in containers
- Compact self-supporting habit — no staking required
- Petals edible — excellent pollinator plant
Grow it in terracotta pots by a doorway or along a path edge — it will reward you with colour all summer long.
