Watch hedgehogs from the comfort of your living room with this Green Feathers habitat and wired TV camera kit. Choose a hedgehog house or feeding station, then use the included camera and 20-metre cable to view visiting wildlife on a compatible television.

The kit contains one habitat: either the house or the feeding station selected, not both. This is a wired TV-viewing system, rather than a WiFi or smartphone-app camera.

Simple wired viewing

The all-in-one cable carries video and power between the camera and your home, reducing the number of cables you need to run to the habitat. A UK mains power supply is included. Check that your television or recorder has a compatible video input before ordering; the camera provides an analogue PAL/NTSC video signal, not an HDMI output.

A close-up view after dark

The 2.8mm wide-angle lens offers a 110° view to capture more of the inside of the habitat. Invisible infrared LEDs allow night-time viewing without a visible glow, so you can observe visiting hedgehogs without shining a light into their shelter.

The included corner bracket helps you position the camera inside the habitat for a useful viewing angle.

Choice of habitat

The hedgehog house is made from European softwood and has a sloping recycled-plastic composite roof. The waterproof, rot-resistant roof encourages rainwater to drain away, with underside grooves helping prevent water tracking inside.

Installation

Fit the camera inside the selected habitat using the corner bracket. Run the supplied cable back to your home, connect to a compatible TV or recorder and connect the power supply, following the setup instructions.
