Bring an internet connection to your remote wildlife-watching setup with this solar-powered 4G WiFi router from Green Feathers. It uses a mobile data connection to create a local WiFi hotspot for compatible cameras, making it useful for hides, nature reserves and garden locations beyond your home WiFi coverage.

A compatible micro SIM with an active mobile data plan and suitable mobile coverage is required. The router provides internet connectivity; cameras still need their own power supply.

Solar-powered connectivity

The integrated 15W solar panel charges a 20,000mAh lithium battery, allowing the router to operate away from mains power. Battery operation is rated at up to seven days on a full charge, depending on usage and operating conditions. Solar charging and ongoing runtime depend on available sunlight.

A WiFi hotspot for remote cameras

Connect compatible WiFi wildlife cameras to the router's 2.4GHz hotspot to access them over a mobile data connection. Connection quality and speed depend on the network, signal strength and site conditions, so check coverage at your intended mounting position.

The IP65-rated casing is designed for outdoor use. A bracket for ground or fence mounting and two 4G antennas are included.

Setup

Fit a compatible micro SIM with an active data plan, attach the antennas and mount the unit where it can receive sunlight and a suitable mobile signal. Power on and connect your compatible camera to the router's WiFi hotspot, following the supplied product instructions.
