There’s something truly special about the Dorset hills north of Dorchester, above the infamous Cerne Giant. The far-reaching views across the rolling hilltops offer a spectacular panoramic landscape, perfect for catching a sunrise, sunset, or enjoying an afternoon stroll or picnic.
This road holds a lot of memories for me, from family trips in all kinds of weather, including driving at what felt like warp speed with snow flakes gliding past or watching lightning in all direction, to moments of reflection. Today, I was reminded of the connection these landscapes offer – grounding us in nature’s beauty, and giving us perspective in the moments we need it most.
As I passed through these timeless hills, I couldn’t help but reflect on the peace and tranquility they provide. It’s a reminder that nature holds more than just scenery – it holds stories, memories, and a sense of place
